Project: Tiger Face
Take a tiger face sweater and turn it into something magic.
The inspiration:
Look how elegant my friend is, even from the back!
My friend Lisa Clark has an incredible sweater. From the front, it's black, stylish, loose-fitting kimono style sweater, exuding effortless cool and elegance. But the real magic happens when she turns around – a stunning tiger head illustration bursts to life on the back!
I'm easily captivated by impactful designs, and this tiger head absolutely blew me away. I knew I couldn't just buy the same sweater; I wanted to create my own unique interpretation of this magnificent beast."
The Idea:
I wanted to make a tiger head… something. When ever I start a project, I tend to make a “library” of images in my head. I search Pintrest, or google images, sometimes I look up vintage postcards, posters etc. This time I started off by looking for a tiger head illustration on Pinterest. There were a ton to choose from, but I wanted something bold but simple lines. Here are some of the screenshots that now populate my phone.
